Laurye and Mary bring over 24 years of combined experience in raising and breeding Champion-winning alpacas. With backgrounds in business and sales, Laurye and Mary have invited some of the best Breeders around the country to offer diverse, quality genetics at the Gems and Genetics Auction and Pen sale.

Scott Miller
Scott Miller and his wife Debbie own and operate Greener Pastures Alpacas in the high desert of Central Oregon. Along with their little herd they also operate and manage Crescent Moon Ranch Alpacas, for Scott`s parents, Joseph and Diane Nelson. Involved in the business since 2000, they decided to attend the International Alpaca Judging School in Peru, hosted by Maggie Krieger and Dr. Julio Sumar in 2001. This month-long experience provided the foundation for their alpaca journey. Together they annually attend numerous alpaca shows and events and for the last four years, Scott has served on the AOBA Judges Training and Certification Committee. After many years in the hospitality industry, Scott loves his time on the ranch and concentrating his efforts on breeding a better and better alpaca.
